This course aims to increase knowledge and build greater awareness of workplace laws which regulate the rights of organisation employees and elected officers to safely and legally enter premises, without causing any undue inconvenience to productivity.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand how to apply the law and its interpretation to control access to and ensure safe and legal entry onto a commercial construction site;
- Gain strategies that will help minimise the occurrence and severity of potential disputes and disruptions to productivity;
- Develop a greater understanding of the IR legal framework and how it applies within your organisation’s Right of Entry procedures;
- Practice dealing with and responding to varied entry queries;
- Use relevant industry resources to identify and check the validity of entry permits and any conditions that may be imposed on them; and
- Find out where to go for support and further IR advice
