Supervise Low Rise Construction

This course is delivered and assessed by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935). On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment and attendance, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935).

Course Overview

This course is suitable if you are a qualified tradesperson, registered builder, site manager, construction manager or other building professional involved in planning onsite construction work.

This course outlines how to supervise the administration of quality control compliance and the use of site communications and record keeping systems as well as how to conduct onsite inspections to complete the required project administration processes. You will gain skills and knowledge to supervise site communications, monitor and maintain compliance with codes and standards and implement project administration processes on a building and construction project.

This short course applies to National Construction Code (NCC) classifications:

  • Residential – Class 1 buildings to a maximum of two storeys
  • Commercial – NCC Class 2 to 9, Type C only constructions

Simulation Learning

Using our state-of-the-art Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC), this course includes a unique simulated learning experience. Set up as a realistic construction site, participants are immersed into real-life scenarios, typical of construction workplaces, giving you the opportunity to practice new competencies in a controlled environment.
