Medium Rise Structural Principles

This course is delivered and assessed by The Master Builders Association of Victoria, also known as Master Builders Victoria (MBV) – RTO no 3935. On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment and attendance, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935).

Course Overview

This course is suitable for:

  • Builders, project managers, site managers, forepersons, construction managers, and;
  • Other building practitioners involved with the management of small to medium-sized building businesses as well as the planning of onsite construction work.

The Medium Rise Structural Principles short course covers how to:

  • Apply the National Construction Code (NCC) and other codes and standards to Class 2 to 9, Type B commercial buildings.
  • Apply structural principles to the construction of footings and structural elements in residential and commercial buildings up to three storeys.

This short course forms part of the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
