This course is delivered and assessed by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935). On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment and attendance, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935).
Course Overview
This course is suitable for you if you are a qualified tradesperson, registered builder, site manager, scheduler, estimator, construction manager or other building professional involved in estimating overall project costs and the planning on onsite construction work.
You will learn how to use plans and specifications to establish costs associated with the acquisition of materials and labour for building and construction projects. The course also covers the preparation of labour and materials schedules and how to monitor project costs against estimates. You will gain the skills and knowledge to:
- Establish estimated costs associated with the acquisition of materials and labour for building and construction projects
- Produce schedules for physical and human resources and materials for residential or commercial projects
