They are very organised, have great trainers, are conveniently located and their courses run during the evenings to allow for flexibility when you’re working.”

Nathan Triffett, Qualified Carpenter

“The Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) was an invaluable platform upon which to understand the operational framework of the building industry. With the goal of registration in mind, this course was an invaluable platform that gave me the skills I needed to tackle the VBA exams and interviews. Along the way, I gained pertinent knowledge about industry best practices and through classroom discussion and cooperation, I made many valuable contacts in the industry.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Master Builders Victoria team who were spectacular in guiding me through the enrolment process and exceptionally giving of their time and expertise throughout the course. Before I knew it, I was prepped and ready to begin and assured my workload would not impede excessively on my family life. Master Builders allows enough time for us to complete assignments without excessive intrusion into our work-life balance, are understanding of time pressures and happy to assist in easing any possibility that coursework may cause stress or disruption.
The trainers are hand-picked to thoroughly represent their area of expertise and for their affinity for conveying its most important aspects. They present well-rounded modules of study that contain feasible case studies. Trainers are also easily accessible should further inquiry be necessary after scheduled classes.”

Jack Gardner, Commercial and Office Modifications

“My sister and I were enrolled in the Certificate IV Building and Construction Course (through Master Builders). Chi had actually obtained the Certificate IV course online (through another company). However, after completing all the assessments and doing the course, she concluded she hadn’t learnt very much.

I had just recently joined the family business so we decided to both enroll in the Certificate IV through Master builders. The best part about the course are the trainers and learning in a group. I learnt just as much from the carpenters and plumbers in the class as the class content.

The content helped us prepare for the examination but the class discussions solidified our understanding of building which was vital for passing the interview component. One of the trainers became our mentor (Steve Zorzi) and he actually came onto one of our sites and explained how flashings work and structural aspects of construction. Steve and other classmates were instrumental in our success in the building registration process.”

Ping Chih, Project Manager - C&C Developments

“A must do before starting your business.”

Greg Taylor

“An essential component for anyone considering a future in the building and construction industry.”
