HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is for both new learners and those refreshing their existing skills. It is recommended that Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is updated every 12 months.
This short course is specifically designed to provide students with the knowledge to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
Areas covered include introduction to first aid principles, airway and breathing management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation.
Students will be required to demonstrate that they have the required knowledge and skills necessary to manage an unconscious, non-breathing casualty to the arrival of medical aid.
This 2 hour Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation short course will enable you to:
- Respond to an emergency situation
- Perform CPR procedures
- Communicate details of the incident.
